It is very easy to score 90+ percentile in each section of e-litmus exam all you need is to follow a proper strategy and practice only relevant questions. ( 1 Month is more than enough if you are strong in each section. )

You need to score only 80+ percentile above in all the 3 sections. 90+ percentile is awesome. Attempt questions that you are 100% sure of. The main game-play is to attempt less but with 100% accuracy. Below is the breakdown / analysis from previous years e-Litmus pattern.

*Time plays a crucial factor here *

Lets first start with negative marking scheme 

1. If you have done more than 25% questions wrong out of total attempted questions then for     every wrong answer 1/2 half marks will be deducted.

2. Chances are that you might even get negative marks in the result so attempt carefully. 

3. Negative marking is section wise not for the complete exam .

The Hack ! as promised 

1. Quantative Aptitude ( max-7-8 questions)

Yes you heard it right out of 20 questions if you get even 7-8 questions right then no one can stop you from getting 90+ percentile in this section. Based on the previous years assumptions 

0 marks -> 40 percentile ( i.e if you dont attempt quants section)

Up to 10 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 50+ percentile

Up to 20 marks ( 2 question correct) -> 60+ percentile

Up to 30 marks ( 3 question correct) -> 75+ percentile

Up to 40 marks +( 4+ question correct) -> 85+ percentile

this is why attempt less but with accuracy.

                                                    

2. Reasoning / Problem Solving (5-6 questions )

This is the toughest section in the paper but believe me if you have practiced then this section would be a cake walk for you all . Please focus on accuracy here also ! 

Up to 20 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 40+ percentile

Up to 30 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 50+ percentile

Up to 40 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 65+ percentile

Up to 50 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 80+ percentile

if you are sure go for data sufficiency and score more percentile .

                                                   

3. Verbal Ability ( 9-11 questions) 

probably the easiest section of the paper this is just another cakewalk for you. Practice at-least 1 Reading Comprehension daily online or if you have any material at home read newspapers daily for atleast 1 hour not for current affairs but for vocabulary . Here also :

Up to 20 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 20+ percentile

Up to 60 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 60+ percentile

Up to 90 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 85+ percentile

Up to 100 marks ( 1 question correct) -> 90+ percentile

                                                         

Below is the chart that you can see for yourself how easy it is to score 85+ percentile in e-Litmus exam. 

Adding the total question you have attempted and estimating overall percentile :

if you  attempt 

Quants 30 + Reasoning 70+ Verbal 95 == Overall 80+ percentile

Quants 50 + Reasoning 85+ Verbal 95 == Overall 90+ percentile

Quants 80 + Reasoning 80+ Verbal 90 == Overall 95+ percentile

Quants 60 + Reasoning 80+ Verbal 90 == Overall 85+ percentile

Weightage of each section is as follows:

Quant> Reasoning> Verbal

Note :

Elitmus now doesn't gives overall percentile in the result only sectional percentile are shown in the candidates result . So please don't worry but yes the overall percentile is always near as what has been told above . So no worry on that . But yes patience, accuracy and no tukkebazzi is the key to success in this exam. 

A lot of janta comes to the centre just because they have filled the " pH test " form . Matter of pride huh ! but guys if you follow the above strategy you will be ahead of many others and will surely score 85+ percentile.
